What is the Order of Merit?
What is the Order of Merit?
The OOM is simply a points system. Every time you participate in golf offers organized by our club, you earn points each time they do so. The name “Order Of Merit” is borrowed from a similar concept from The New Golf Club of St. Andrews.
Every Chapter has an Order Of Merit leaderboard (Atlanta, Chicago, National). The leaderboard can be found in the mobile app (Menu > Order of Merit > Select Chapter).
The top points earner for the year in 2025 will win the incredible prize of the latest Titleist equipment and a free fitting on top. This prize is part of our ongoing club partnership with Titleist, which shows how important our club is in the industry and directly proves your importance as a member of NewClub in the golf ecosystem.
You can earn points toward the Order Of Merit by participating in NewClub trips or Fixtures, playing local golf booked through the mobile app, and attending other member events. Please note: to receive points for golf booked through the mobile app, you must complete the survey in the app at the end of your round. If you accidentally close the survey, you can still access it by going to Menu > Course Feedback in the app.

NewClub is proud to introduce the first ever Honor Cup for Atlanta members!
This member-only competition culminates in a golf trip at a secret location in Tennessee on December 6-7. With only 6 available invitations, we're launching the Honor Cup to decide who gets them!
The Honor Cup is hosted by Atlanta Founding member Will Hanna, who's been incredibly gracious in organizing this wonderful competition and trip. The competition is a stroke-play, gross and net format at Atlanta Athletic Club with Will as scorekeeper.

We’ve heard your feedback, and we’re making a change. After reviewing the impact of removing credits in July, we’ve decided to extend credits upon renewal through the end of 2026—because we’re committed to ensuring you experience the full value of your membership.
